A tasty luncheon preceded the card playing. Prize winners were Mrs. Chriss Sorensen, Mrs. Charles Warren, Mrs. James Toone and Mrs. Dean Rose. Others attending were Mrs. Clarence Ros-troMrs. Oscar Erickson, Mrs. Marie Berry and Mrs. Billy Dean. tained the '500 -- m, Mrs. Alliene Farren Entertains 500 Club Mrs. Alliene Farren entertained the 500 club last Wednesday evening. Cards were enjoyed and delicious refreshments were served to Mrs. Frank reart, Anna Mrs. Franks, Mrs. Harry Dean, Mrs. John Jones, Mrs. Don Giles, Mrs. John Phipps, Mrs. Minnie Painter, and the special guest, Mrs. Roy Gourley. Prize winners were Mrs. Gourley, Mrs. Peart and Mrs. Franks. So cia O u en t Ward Relief Society Observes Organization's Birthday March 17 LDS Eureka Ward Relief Society held its annual Birthday Party on Tuesday, March 17, in the Recreation Hall. Dinner was served at 1:00 p.m., and opened with Bishop Lee Bird saying Grace. Table decorations were carried out in the Societys colors, blue and yellow. Daffodils and Pussy Willows made an attractive center piece for the dining tables. Favors were corsages made by the officers. Reva Larsen and Mildred Gar-it- y were in charge of the table decorations. Those in charge of the dinner were officers, President Donna Paxman, Alice Peart, Reva Larsen, Grace Atherley and Mildred Garity. Assisting in service were Lova Jones and Juanita Talent. ' A short program was presented, and was announced by the chairman, Donna Paxman, which consisted of the following: Song by the members, with Norma Jameson at the organ, and Mayme Wirthlin, chorister; vocal solo, Genevieve Sanderson; remarks, Bishop Lee Bird; vocal solo, Leslie Larsen; piano duet, Maxine Paxman and Carolee Bigler. Mrs. Paxman gave a short talk and thanked all those who assisted in any way toward the success of the afternoon. Benediction was given by Mayme Wirthlin. There were 38 members, in attendance to enjoy the nicely Page Three Lesson, Luncheon OES Plans Annual Features VSCS Meet Visitation April 16 Womens Society of Christian Service held a meeting last Thursday at the home of Mrs. Curtis Butler. Luncheon preceded the regular meeting, and the lesson for the day was given by Mrs. Butler. Those in attendance were Ada Randle, Nell Rowe, Edith Pendray, Myrtle Theriault, Vola Worthy Matron, Agnes derson, assisted by Worthy Annie Vivian, Lavon Annie Ryan, Elsie Nilson, Smith, Pansy Treloard, and Maude Blight. The next meeting will be on March 26, and will be held at the home of Mrs. Alex Blight. Nevers, -- Ladies of Elks Conduct Meeting Ladies of Elks met in regu- lar session on Tuesday even- ing, with President Cleo Judge presiding. A routine business session meeting was disposed of, and arrangements for the election of officers were made. New officers will be elected at the next regular meeting. Several games of bridge were enjoyed, with Mrs. Judge, Mrs. Paul Hansen and Mrs. Bart Ryan winning the prizes. Mrs. Eldon Nelson was hostess for the evening, and served a tasty lunch. the meeting of Tintic Chapter No. 18, OES held Monday evening. The regular order of business was disposed of, and plans were made for the visitation of the Worthy Grand Matron, which will be on Monday, April 6. Two visitors from Payson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Roach were welcomed to the meeting by the Tintic members. After the Chapter meeting, tasty refreshments were served by Nell Rowe and Elsie Nilson.
