J. at Jo Cl Schow, president of State Ladies of Elks, and Mrs. Charles Larsen, secretary, were at a lunch- eon for the officers of the state association held in East Mill Creek Canyon last Friday af-teijioon. It was a perfect day for a canyon outing and all those present spent a thoroughly enjoyable day. ses Others attending were Mrs. Robert Thomas and Mrs. Hamilton Laird of Eureka, Mrs. Reed Allred, Price; Mrs. James Burton, Tooele; Mrs. Wayne Garrett, Logan; Mrs. Lloyd Alkema, Ogden and Mrs. Fred Haffen, Provo. Mrs. Florence Gillispie, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Nelson and daughter, Wendy, were in Salt Lake City last Sunday visiting with Bob Gillispie, who is confined to the Veteran's hospital there. He is recuperating nicely and expects to be released from the hospital in the next week or two which his friends will be happy to learn. Dinner Party Husbands Guests Honors Nephew At Outdoor Party Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Robin- The LDS Primary Stake Board entertained their husbands at an outdoor dinner at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Lee Bird on Thursday evening of last week. A hot dinner was served on the lovely patio at the Bird home and beautiful cut flowers from their garden decorated the tables and added a festive air to the happy occasion. Lucille Bigler was chairman for the dinner and assisting her were Wanda Colovich, Clara Parbett and Elna Bird. son were hosts at a dinner party last week honoring their nephew, Bill McCoy, a former resident of Eureka, who has recently returned from Yugoslavia.
