The opening prayer was gi ven by Karen Christensen, and the pledge repeated. We started work on our aprons, so as to get them before we go to camp. We also chose a number that Sunwe will present for the day' Service. Those present were: Irene Aitken, Gloria Ann Allinson, Sue Bell, Sandy Butler, Patricia Boswell, Gloria Castleton, and Karen Christensen. Busy Beehive The Busy Beehive Stitchers met Tuesday afternoon at the high school home economics rooms- The meeting was called to order by Elana Christensen. We worked on our skirts and nearly completed them. Reporter, Ja Nette Hyde. Camp Planned '4-Camp will be held at Dad uid Sons Camp in Nephi Canyon on August 1, 2, and 3. The full skirt featured ruffles of embroidery edged in nylon tulle-- The fitted strapless bodice was topped with a small jacket of corded nylon net. Her veil of brides illusion finger-ti- p was caught to a tiara of seeded pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet or orchids. Mrs. Loris Beckstead,, sister of the groom was matron of honor, and she wore a gown of deep rose taffeta. Bridesmaids Miss Sue Ann Jasperson, Miss Sheila Steck and Miss Catherine Jermaine wore net gowns of pink and green and all wor corsages of pink and white carnations. Both wore orchid corsages. A reception at the Goshen ward Church, hosted hv the bride's parents honored the young couple following the ceremony. An excellent program was presented, and refreshments wen, served. A beautiful three-tiere- d wedding cake centered a table covered with a lace cloth. Following a short honevmoon the newlvweds will make a home in Eureka. Page Three Miss Norma Long Engagement To Lowell Cherry Announced Miss Norma Ixing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Long will become the bride of Lowell Cherry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Cherry Saturday evening, July 27, in rites performed in Goshen at the home of a sister, Mr. and Mrs. Joel White. Officiating at the nuptials will be Bishop Lee Bird of the LDS Eureka Ward. The announcement is being made this week by the parents of the bride. : Past Matrons Circle Conducts Meeting Past Matrons' Circle, Chapter 18, .O. E- S. met last Friday - with Mrs. fethel Donnelly, Mrs. Elysabeth Franke was in charge of the business session.
