Except for the Nebo and Fillmore units, this weekend ends the regular license hunts as set by the Utah Board of Big Game Control for this year. On these two areas the season extends for one more p. Such tags are atill available, one to the license holder, from licence agents in the vicinity of these two units. Holders of special doe permits for the Diamond Fork unit may hunt the unit on these permits this weekend of December No special permits of any kind were allowed by the Board for the Hobble Creek, Timpanogas and Salt Lake areas. Only those big game license holders who have not yet bagged a deer and used the regular tag are eligible to take 15-1- 6. 8-- 9. a deer on these units during this IfkSt weekend. Hunters who may go afield on any of these areas for the final weekends of the extended seasons were again asked to be sure of the boundaries of the unit they may enter. These are clearly described in the 1956 deer hunting EVERYONE APPRECIATES proclamation. In the case of the Nebo deer herd unit, hunters are cautioned that the Utah county portion of this herd unit is closed during the extended season. Holidays Granted Army Enlistees The Deartment of the Army is giving this Christmas gift to all men and women enlisting between the dates of December 15th and 31st. Personnel enlisting or during this period may lie sworn into the Army on the dute of their choice, spend the Christmas and New Years holidays at home and then report to their first ramp not later than the 7th of January 1957. The program not only permits the enlistee to spend the holidays at home, but at the same time they will be drawing Army pay. Full details can be obtnined from your local recruiting office.
