The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Dailey, and the bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride was radiant in her wedding gown of traditional white slipper satin with ..cathedral train. The lacs bodice was fashioned with peter pan collar, long sleeves, tapering to a point at the wrist. Small covered buttons adorned the front of the bodice and side bustles of lace on the full shirt added to the beauty of the gown. Her fingertip veil, edged with lace, fell from small crown of lace and seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white orchids and white bavarian, with streamers intertwined with miniature bavarian blossoms. Matron of honor, Mrs. Marion Hopes, sister of the bride, was her only attendant. She was attractively gowned in ping satin and her bouquet was pink rosebuds and groom, performed the duties of best man. The brides mother chose a gown of fuchsia nylon with brown Mother of the groom wore deep purple faille, with lavender accessories. Both wore a corsage of purple orchids. After the ceremony, the parents of the bride honored the bridal party, members of the immediate families, and a few close friends at a wedding breakfast, which was served in the Canary Room at the Last Frontier Hotel. A beautiful d wedding cake centered the dining table. Following the wedding breakfast the newlyweds left on a honeymoon trip. They travelled by plane to Washington. D. C.. Miami. Florida: Havana. Cuba. Montego Bay and Kingston, Jamara, and back to New York, wiiere they visited with a sister of the groom.
