Eureka is a fine place to live. The community spirit surpasses cities much larger. It has produced a long time, and it is a grand old town. The people welcome newcomers and former residents always return for a good time. in taking the initiative in a campaign to urge people who work in Eureka to live in Eureka, the Kiwanis club is doing a real work for the community. Members of the club point to the fact that more new homes are necessary before many more people can live in Eureka. There are very few vacant homes to be found in the town now. So in keeping with the campaign to increase the population of the town with local workmen and their families, there should be some kind of a building .drive, one in which a few more homes could be built in Eureka. Instead of taking homes away from the town, it should he the concern of townspeople to see that new ones are constructed. i I By I.YN CONNELLY "Judging by ters and packages from the listeners across the country, fans are convinced that our c h aractcrization are real people heard as they experience actual events ull recorded by some mysterious, hidden mike.
