With this small sum Nephi residents say they can build a low standard road for a distance of five miles and that the sum will be spent on the road from the bridge at Rocky Ford toward Nephi, this being the worst part of the road at the present time. I It 1b claimed that $50,000 more money will be needed to make a first class road out of the route. This Is a big sum of money for n single expenditure and it will likely be some time before it Is available. On Saturday evening, December 7th, officers of tbs Tintie Lodge of Elks will go to Price and put on the Initiation services for that lodge. It hae been the custom for many years past for the State Elks Association to hold ritualistic contests to determine which of the eight lodges porform the work In the best manner, the winning lodge being presented with a silver trophy.
