They are, Mrs. Bob Horn, president; Mrs. Leo Card, Mrs. Gene Martin, secretary and Mrs. Thom Hardy, treasurer. One of the major goals of the organization will be to welcome newcomers to the community beginning in January. All club members are invited to a Christmas dinner on Dec. 11. For The Roosevelt Stake Relief Society will hold a Holiday Fair at the Roosevelt Stake Center Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone in the area is invited to come and see the numerous gift items and ideas and table decorations along with demonstrations. There are arts and crafts and demonstrations in other areas. There will be special music presentations throughout the day from the various wards throughout the Stake and light refreshments will be served. A special invitation is extended to new residents of the area to come and visit the fair. There is no charge for attending the fair. juniors and misses. WEDDING HELD Mr. and Mrs. Roger Dennis Eschler were honored at a reception held in Altamont Nov. 18. The bride is the former Norene Powell. President Heaton officiated in the double ring ceremony held Nov. 17. Parents of the newlyweds are Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd A. Powell, Altamont and Mr. and Mrs Dennis Eschler, Logan. The wedding party was honored at a dinner at the Bluebird Cafe following the wedding. The newlyweds were honored at a recep tion Nov. 18 in the Altamont ward cultural hall. A silver backdrop with an archway of lavender net drape and purple pompoms with lighted pillars at each side topped with urns of purple larkspur and Large lavender mums, set the decor. For her wedding and reception the bride wore a gown of organza over satin with inserts of lace on the skirt, bodice and sleeves. It was and featured an empire waistline and long full sleeves. A tiara of white flowers held her shoulder-lengtveil of bridal illusion. She carried a bouquet of a huge orchid surrounded by baby carnations accented by lace and lavender streamers. Maria Powell, a sister of the bride was h her maid of honor. She wore a gown of purple with an empire waistline and long tapering sleeves trimmed with lavender velvet ribbon and carried a large mum with lavender streamers. Bridesmaids were Susan Harris, Connie Evans, Mrs. Roland Powell, SharLynn Remington and Wendi Markham. They lavender gowns similar wore to that of the maid of honor and they also carried a large mum with lavender streamers. Flower girls wore long empire waistline gowns with leg o' mutton sleeves and they carried pom poms with lavender ribbons. The mother of the bride wore a plum colored street-lengtdress and the mother of the bridegroom wore a purple street-lengtdress. Both wore rymbidium orchid corsages. Wayne Eschler performed the duties of best man. Roland Powell was an usher. Their three tiered wedding cake was iced in white and decorated with lavender tipped flowers and was topped with three bells. In charge of serving were Reva Nelson, Evelyn Miles. Beth Brotherson and serving girls were Debra Bird, JaNae and Julie Tucker. Linda Nelson. Arlow Erickson and Mrs. Mildred Omer were in charge of gifts. Mrs. John Sadlier presided at the guest book.
