(Ted) Olpin residence was the setting for the wedding of Miss Darlene Edith Olpin and Lynn Curtis Mab-bu- tt August 21. Bishop Dennis Mower officiated In the double ring ceremony In the presence of family members and friends. Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Olpin, Roosevelt and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Curtis Mabbutt, Price. Mr. and Mrs. Olpin were hosts at a buffet dinner following the ceremony, also at the Olpin residence. A garden reception honored the young newlyweds that evening. The receiving line stood before a row of lilac bushes with arrangements of blue carnations at each end. Two lighted pillars topped with arrangements of glads and carnations was at the entrance to the yard with silver rope looped between poles topped with blue flowers along the pathway. For tier wedding the bride chose a gown of lace over white satin. It featured an empire waistline accented with a satin ribbon and bow, long puffed sleeves with lace edging, scalloped neckline and a full lack which formed a train. Her lace edged veil of nylon net was held by band of chiffon petals and fell as an overlay of the train. She car-l- ed a bouquet of a large white Kathy Olpin, Tammy Snell, Julie Buxton and Taml McDonald. An open house honoring the young couple was given In their honor at the home of the bridegroom's parents in Price August 26. The bride wore a white pant suit with a blue polka dot blouse for her going away ensemble. They honeymooned in Mesa Verda, Four Corners and Albuquerque. They will make their home In Price where both will continue their ed ed bon. ' The wedding cake was three-tiere- d, Iced In white with blue flowers, blue bells and white doves and was topped with a mlnature bride and groom under an archway. Mrs. Meredith Hurley, was in charge of serving assisted by Evette Hadlock, Valory Galley Dianna Averett and Verna Ann Trujlllo. In charge of gifts were Mrs. Wayne Clements, Lorle and Lee Ann Harrison. The newlyweds are making their home In Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Meldrln M.
