Show from California visited Friday. - Mr. and Mrs. Bub Ellsworth from Kearns were here visiting her brother, Byron Bowden. They attended the Bowden faintly reunion at Tridell. leaders from Second ward Mr. and Mrs. George Thatcher, Lois Bird, Laura Pike, Hanae Millar, Stella Ames, Lee Usonbea went to Salt Lake Monday taking eighteen boys. Some of the highlights of the days outing were Primary hospital, Zoo, Lllieriy park and Temple grounds. The organ specialist from Salt Lake was professor Dean Almend of Summer hays Music Co. --M- r. and Mrs. Owen Burgerner of Price were here for the concert and they visited also with the Afton Richens and the Earl Glngells and others. Mrs. Lila Gentry was In Belvulle, 01, with her daughter for two weeks. Since she returned, Mr. and Mrs. Noel Bennett have been with her for sometime. Mrs. Lillian Lott Is home from California where she spent the winter. and Mrs. John Babcock have been at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Roberts the last four days. Dr. Babcock said the choir concert was the best music he has ever heard. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wllmer Murray was her daughter and husband, Dr. and Mrs. John W. Tucker and four daughters and their friend Meshell Kllpack of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Dennis just returned from a trip to Yellowstone Park. While they were away Mrs. Dennis father Ashel Bingham 83, of Salt Lake passed away . They were able to attend his funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Max Peatross attended a family reunion July 24. Since then they have had the following visitors at their home: Mr. and Mrs. Mike Verde from Alpine; Mr. and Mrs. Steven Krause, Orem; Keith Peatross of Salt Lake and Mr. Stanley Peatross of St. George. Mrs. Ross Is staying with them at present. Bishop Leon Ross and wife and children are taking a 4 day vacation to Yellowstone Park. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nunley of Salt Lake visited with Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Hancock during the past week. and Mrs. Mac Hardman and Mr. and Mrs. Dell Barker of Salt Lake, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Hackford during the past week. Visiting the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Killian this week were Don and Ann lorg and family from Bountiful. Wayne and sons, Shane and Darrin and Max Shaw went on a pack trip up to the lake. Visiting over the holiday with the J. V. Frestons were daughter Verna and Coy Durphey and family from Granger. They had spent several days boating and camping at Starvation Dam. Tamara Shaw and Debbie Dunton were with the Durphys. Tamara stayed for a visit with her grandparents the Max Nelsons and Jeanle Dur-ph- y will vacation with her aunt and uncle, Bishop and Mrs. Wendell Freston. Since then, he has worked on various Vernal District construction and maintenance projects as an Operator General. Before starting work for BLM, he served four years In the U. S. Navy In the United States, Japan, China, and Korea. Mr. Arnold will make his home in Roosevelt Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote went to Provo with Carl Wednesday, and to Salt Lake Thursday to get Sherrie who has lieen staying with Mr. and Mrs. Corky Marx. Christie Foote spent the past week In Provo with Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Davis and family. They brought tier home Friday and spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote. Dee Foote from Provo also spent the weekend. -Mr. and Mrs. R. S . Johnson of Bloomington, Calif., visited with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Willson Thursday and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Wlnterton hosted a birthday party for Clair's father, Mr. Hyrum Wlnterton for his 93rd birthday. The party was held at Mr. Wlntertons Ranch In Strawberry Valley and over 200 people attended. John Jorgenson went to Provo Friday to attend the foneral services for his sister In law, Mrs. Joleen Jorgenson.
