Wed like to make a plea for HELP". In producing a newspaper each week, there is certain work that is involved, which consumes a given amount of Decause of this fact, time. we of necessity had to set up deadlines. Deadlines are for a purpose, and we are happy to say that most people get their material in by deadline time, or shortly thereafter. Dut herein lies the rub. Too much is coming in just before deadline time, thus creating a mountain of work during the short time before final production of the paper. At the same time, there is often periods of time earlier in the week when typesetters must quit work early because of iv) material on hand. Heres the situation, then: With such a large amount of material coining in just before the deadline, it is almost impossible for us to take late items, since we already have about all the work we can complete and still get the papers in the mail on time. However, ' if some of this work could be completed earlier, it would lie no problem to take a late item up until the forms are finally closed. We would appreciate your cooperation In seeing that all news and advertising that is possible is In the office by Monday at the latest. We feel this would give us 'a better chance to create a more informative and attractive paper. Thanks for your help. A strange thing alxxit blunt people is that they usually come to the point first. By the way, the article last week alxait the honors afforded Mrs. Paula Bell, wasn't exactly right. You see, Mrs. Bell was named as the outstanding young woman" of the state, not the outstanding club woman" as reported. Since there has already been an outstanding clubwoman named for Utah, and Mrs. Bell was not that person, we hasten to make the correction.
