Duchesne, groundwork planning was completed for the Uintah Basin Alcoholism Institute, which Is scheduled to be held January 20, at the Roosevelt Junior High school. Don Hlcken, chairman of the committee, pointed out that the institute would run from 8 a.m. when registration would begin, through about 8 p.m. The day's session would Include lectures, films, panels, and group discussions covering the problems of alcoholism as they relate to the Uintah Basin. Top men In the various fields will be on hand throughout the day to lead the discussions, and report their findings. During the meeting last week, committees to handle various functions during the Institute were named.
