He spent one year as an intern at the hospital, and one year in surgical residency. Upon completion of his internship in 1965, he was named as the most outstanding intern at the hospital. Dr. Madsen graduated from Brigham Young University and George Washington University in Washington, D. C. A native of Provo, the doctor is a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Frank Madsen. He married the former Kay Whitney of Spilngville. They have three children, Mary Kay, 6; Peter Whitney, 4; and Dale Frank lin, l1,!. The family moved to Roosevelt the latter part of June.
