It waa under the direction of the Primary teachers, Florenre Mohlman, Alice Brotherson. Oman. Virginia Bette Swaacy and Margaret Reay, Primary president. There were 15 girls and their fathers present, including Cindy Lou and Reay Jessen, Debra Jessen and Neil Mitchell. Alene Potts and Gerald Jacobson. Janice and Albert Potts. Joan and Martin Brotherson, Peggy and Oscar Nelson, Connie and Dewey Jensen, Debra and Lewis Daniels, Marla and Cloyd Powell, Paula and Lynn Hansen. THIS COMMITTEE working with the city council of which Orson Stevens is the council representative, will hold a series of meetings to help Roosevelt residents to make plans for landscaping their homes. A second film and lecture meeting will be held February 24, also at the Elementary school, and in a following meeting Dr. Arvil Static will be in the city to give additional information regarding home lanscaping. MRS. RAWLINGS pointed out that as a followup of last years cleanup the committee is planning to landscape the city in steps towards making Roosevelt a more beautiful place in which to live. 90 of 65 TV licenses paid A report from the Duchesne County Clerks office about the television licensing gives this additional information. Ninety percent of the 1965 $12.00 licenses have been paid, states Porter L. Merrell, county clerk. The clerks office has issued 1,195 receipts for payment of licenses. The time for payment of this license fee, without additional cost, has been extended by the county commissioners through 14. February On February 15, the county attorney, R. Earl Dillman, has been instructed by the county commission to start drawing up the necessary papers for Sheriff George E. Marett to serve on the television set owners who have not paid the license fee to comply with the county ordinance governing this fee. The 1966 television license fee is due in April.
