The story starts on the street when Karl is at tracted by a handsome dame walking dowp the street. He follows and is led into a barber shop. He then wants service and gets it a plenty from a rough shave to being pushed out into the street from a bath room, his only covering being well, you must see it. He gets fighting mad and blames Arthur for all his troubles and has him arrested and put into jail, where the pair play for the love of the wardens daughter enough said. Bicknell, the model baker, is a genius in reproducing the heads of famous people with his clay. His moulds of Lincoln and others is perfect and the artist is given a rousing encore. Dorothea Summers has a good voice and sings well several popular selections and her comet solo is a feature. Phil Phillips and his collegiate band are musicians de luxe. The leader is unusually active and puts a lot of pep into an excellent musical revue supported mainly by wind instruments. Violin, saxophone, playing, interpolated with singing and an improvised dress skirt dance by six of the fellows makes a big hit with the crowds and the people demand more.
