LINDHOLM, Manager. mHE opening of the new Utah Mo-- 1 tor Auto Park to tourists yesterday means more to Salt Lake City than any one thing that has been done here in years. This beautiful and unique park is ' between Ninth and Tenth South and Main and State streets. It on Main has three entrances, one street, one on State street and one on Ninth South. This means the grounds are easily accessible to tourists, no matter from which direction they situated come. It will be a delightful surprise to when they enter this park, so picturesque, and restful, with all the comforts, conveniences and service of hotels. They are sure th? to go away singing the praises of Salt Lake City as they have never done before. Tie cabins form a square, in the center of which is a large Community luilding, surrounded by beautiful trees, lawns and flowers. In this building; is the office, where guests will register, and where all other business will be transacted. It also contains a large room for the entertainment of the guests. Everything will be done to make it as attractive and comfortable as possible. On chilly evenings the guests may sit around the cheerful fireplace and play cards or they may dance if they desire. Music will be provided for this purpose. In the basement is a laundry, with every modem convenience, for the benefit of the guests. The basement also contains ten private showers. The exterior is painted white with cream trimmings to harmonize with the cabins. Ti white walls, red roofs, green shutters and lattice work make the cabins very attractive against the background of tall trees. The center of the grounds is parked in lawns and flowers, around which is a border of Carolina poplars. There is also a border of Carolina poplars in front of the cabins, and each cabin has its individual plot of lawn and flowers. Carolina poplars grow very rapidly, so it will not be many weeks before there will be considerable shade in the park, which will make it very enticing to the weary traveler.
