DUNCAN SISTERS APPEAR IN FAMOUS TOPSY AND EVA .Only nine years ago they were school girls in Los Angeles. Rosetta, who had been heard of locally as a yodeler, appeared in her first engagement in Taits restaurant in San Francisco. A prominent San Francisco theatrical man soon recognized her ability not as a yodeler, but as an actress and arranged a vaudeville , tour , of nearby towns to prepare her fqr more ambitious work; Vivian was assigned' to assompany her, upon. the. piano. Bit by bit, small items of harmony, were introduced, and gradually the . absic elements of the act that vaudeville was later to know as the Duncan Sisters' began to appear. Then the sisters went to Chicago and appeared for three months jn the Revue de Vogue. They later appeared in various plays in New York and London.
