NEW BICYCLE CLUB IS ORGANIZED BY RIDERS A new bicycle club has been organized to which any rider is eligible. By common consent the club was named the Phil Wright cycle club with headquarters established at 36 West Broadway. No initiation fees or dues are required for membership. The idea is to increase the interest among VICTORY THEATRE the boys who ride a bike and to create a greater degree of socialibility among all. Regular country runs will be a policy of the club, the runs to be made each Sunday, starting at 9:30 sharp, in the morning. These runs will also serve to put the boys on their metal for the forthcoming annual road race that will be held here on the Fourth of July and to keep them in trim for the tryouts for the various events that will determine who will represent Utah at the National Amateur meet, that will be held in August and will be open to contestants from any part of the state. It is expected that entries from both Ogden and Logan will be recieved this year. This should add zest to the contests. The club, in addition to the regular Sunday runs will stage several race meets this summer, for club members, This will bring out a good spirit of friendly competition and be training for the novices. LOGAN ROAD RACE Logan will hold a road race this year on the Fourth of July, sanction for the same having been granted by the A. B. L. and a representative of Logan has been duly authorized to help conduct the affair. It is to be hoped that this will become a fixed event at Logan. Other cities of the state should do likewise and so increase cycling among the boys, since there is no better athletic sport for the boys than to become expert riders of the bike.
