A series of vocal solos are appreciated by all. The dancing is a feature. The Maxellos do a few equilibrium stunts that have the blessing of being new, or right new and being presented in an interesting manner. ONeil and Brower present a black face offering in a line of new chatter, gags and jokes, together with some good dancing. Roth and Drake in Thrills in Midair keep their, audiences in attention by their thrilling stunts, some of which are very difficult to perform. Gil-lar- d, TTIHJES CLONINGER COMPANY WILL PRESENT THE FOOL Channing Pollocks great drama of Christianity at odds with human nature in a troublous century, The Fool, presented by Ralph Cloninger, comes to the Wilkes theatre next week, starting with the performance tomorrow night, but not as a stranger. Clergy and laymen, the righteous and umegenerate have borne testimony of the piece and its performance. In the .first act the author depicts the upper world of. hypocrisy and in-toleia- The ..Fool himself is a young rector of a wealthy parish, but his preaching against the preferred classes and a pleading for justice for those less fortunate costs him his po sition. At last he finds consolation in his work and living in a single room, feeling that he is really a rich man since he has peace, friends, time to lead and think and dream and help. Briefly, this is the story of the most marvelous play of the age, which will have an excellent augmented company for the presentation at the Wilkes.
