The play is well Btaged with fitting scenery and the costuming is tasty adding charm to the play. The feature picture this week is The Broken Silence, a story of the frozen north with the famous Zena Keefe in the leading roel, and thrilling experiences with the mounted police. A DANIELS SUCCESS AT PARAMOUNT EMPRESS. Bebe Daniels in Dangerous Money, her first appearance in a Paramount picture as a star, was a winner at the Paramount Empress during the week pnd hundreds of people went to this popular showhouse to see this celebrated film. Tom Moore appears as the leading man for Miss Daniels. The story deals with the ups and downs in life in which thrills galore hold the spectators every minute. Laurel Nemeth, light opera prima donna and former star of "Blossom Time made a big hit in songs with her wonderful and beautiful voice. Kimballs Little Symphony furnishes pleasing and the best of music. CLONINGER MAKES HIT IN THE GREEN GODDESS. Beulah Hayes, popular member of the Bridge Players, who takes a prominent part in the new Comedy, Everybodys Daddy, at the Orpheum Theatre, Sunday for one week. Ralph Cloninger has proven conclusively time and time again that he can meritoriously take any part in any play and successfully get away with it. As the rajah in The Green Goddess, which is being presented at the Wilkes theatre this week by the Cloninger Stock company, he is no exception to the rule. Not only Cloninger but the other stars of the company and the entire cast show that they can present the most difficult plays in a most pleasing way. Setting off the play this week are elaborate scenes of an oriental design, and the beautiful costumes of the players put the finishing touches to one of the most popular ;iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. Cloninger appears to have been cast for the rajah and adorned in silks and satins and brilliant jewels one is almost convinced that the rajah has just paid us a visit. Edythe Elliott has a role which shows her at best and she is probably shown here to better advantage than heretofore. Victor Jory is clever and Harry Jordan does his usual good work. That the public heartily endorses the play is shown by the large crowds which attend the shows. There will be a matinee this afternoon and the concluding performance tonight. Everyone loves a good dog, probably mostly because that the dog has always been considered a true friend to his master, no matter under what conditions or hardships. This film carried a story which if told vrould be in most cases taken as a fairy tale, because this famous dog appeared to do' the impoieible. Here again the dog proves to be the true friend when he saves his master from a gang of outs laws who made him the goat for their I depredations which lands him in jail but is in turn rescued by the faithful dog.
