A WE -- &B H&YMAN &e -- 5 ilke The Breaking Point RHINEHARTS' THE BREAKING POINT AT WILKES THEATRE loss of memory of which many instances have developed since the world war, gave Mary Roberts Rhinehart the idea for her latest play, The Breaking Point, wThich will be the presentation of Ralph Cloninger and his company of players at the Wilkes Theatre next week, beginning with the performance Sunday evening. Mrs. Rhineharts book is a wonderful portrayal of character and events and the play is equally as vital as the book. Thousands have read the book and will enjoy seeing the characters in flesh and blood at the Wilkes next week. The reo of the story is Dr. Dick Livingstone, who is about to be married to Elizabeth Miller, the daughter of Dr. Harrison Miller, a mind specialist. Then comes beautiful Beverly Lucas, an actress of note, in a play that is making a big hit. Dr. Dick and his fiancee go to see the play. Beverly recognizes, or thinks she does, Dr. Livingstone as Judson Clark, a one-tim- e Wyoming rancher who was infatuated with her and who killed her husband, Howard Lucas. A keen nosed newspaper reporter gets on the trail. Complications come thick and fast when it is revealed that Dr. Dick was an amnesia victim, having lost his memory ten years before.
