Bohemian Life is a sketchy affair, wherein the aesthetic and the emotional blend. Monsieur Adolphus has created a really wonderful act in which Eunice Prosser, she of violin perfection, furnishes the emotional in real enchanting music and Grace Eastman, the model, is responsible for the aesthetic because of her graceful, lissome dancing. And the maid, Anna Veld, proves a lithesome and graceful acrobat. It is delightful terpsichorean turn, well staged and directed. Edward Foley and pretty and petite Lea Leture furnish several rare moments in vaudeville divertisements. Their act smacks of originality, the songs are good and the mimicry pleasing. (Foley makes a hit with his cowbell song. Impersonations by Claudia Coleman are a revelation, especially to the woman who has achieved smart set standing by force, the manicurist, the flapper, the smart sales girl and the female grouch. Also Glasons monologue turn is exceptionally peppy and contains much that is new and pleasing. Lawton opens the show with a clever performance in home-spujuggling, which goes over great.. It ranges to cannon balls. Three from hand-ball- s trained baboons, in a new setting, presented by Fred Galetta and Mabel Kokin, is cleverly staged and the baboons show real human traits, s Manager Diamond has delighted numerous Harold Lloyd partisans In presenting the film for a second time. In addition and headlining the show is the charming dance revue Entertainment Versatile a combination of dramatic, musical and humorous art, quite wonderful and quite complete. This is the offering of Harry Symour and His Four Film Stars. The act is characteristic of school days, of Scotch lassies, high stepping and clever singing. Seymour furnishes the wit and slam-banstug. There is a stunt consisting of an admixture of magic and swift chatter put over by the Burton Sisters and Hanson. Songs and witticisms are casually dropped while weird tricks are being performed. The act perg mits of no dull moments and is a big winner. Officer Volkes and his dog, Don, furnish a real surprise. Don does some really faithful impersonations of g the genus homo, gets drunk an just like that! Don cant talk, ever-thin- but undoubtedly he can think a whole lot. Whip manipulation and control stamp Burt Shepard as a real specimen of the Australian cowboy, which he assumes to be. He is as accurate as a crack shot in trimming roses and ashes from cigar tips with his long whip lash. It is an act presenting many thrills. Skating in 1923 will be different, if it is up to the style set by Daley, Mac and Daley. This trio presents a wonderful performance, wherein falls and gymnastic stuff predominates. And the Old Telephone Booth introduces Fargo and Richards, doing a bit of fantastic and clever dialogue, some dancing and a trick-skatin- g little singing. The entire show is one of the most cleverly staged and enticing of the season. hear when the question of improve the breeds of animals is under discu sion.
