Show s THE CITIZEN 6 Revue De La Ville Entertainments planned, and inaug- urated this week by the sororieties and fraternities of the University of Utah in honor of the rushees will occupy the social attention of the school for the next fortnight. Wednesday evening Alpha Chi sorority entertained at a Chinese supper at the home of Joseph Nelson on Second avenue. Thursday evening Pi Epsilon Phi sorority entertained at a kangaroo party at the home of Miss Helen Ingham on East Seventh South street. Alumnae members of Lambda Phi Lambda sorority entertained Friday evening at a dancing party at the McCune home on North State street. Chi Omega sorority will entertain at a pelican party this (Saturday) evening at the sorority house on S street. Saturday afternoon arid evening a farm party will be given by Gamma Phi sorority at its country home in the Cottonwoods. Delta Epsilon sorority will entertain Saturday at a progressive dinner in honor of the rushees. Sunday afternoon Lambda Phi Lambda sorority entertained at tea at the home of Mrs. H. F. Dicke on East South Temple street in honor of the rushees. The sorority colors, crimson, old gold and brown, were used in the decorative scheme. The tea table was covered with a cluny lace cloth over gold satin and a brown wicker basket filled with crimson dahlias formed the centerpiece. Brass candelabra with crimson candles were also used on the tea table. Miss Lucile Margetts and Miss Vemetta Lindsay, members of the alumnae organization, presided at the tea table and were assisted in serving by Miss Ardella Sabine, Miss Ruth Barnard, Miss Maude Hester, Miss Fuchcia Robinson and Miss Ruth Smedley. Miss Mabel Kinney entertained Sunday afternoon at a trousseau tea at the home of her sister, Mrs. F. C. West, on Elizabeth street. A color scheme of yellow and white was carried out in the decorations and a crystal basket of African marigolds and white asters formed tne centerpiece for the tea table. Mrs. Raymond D. Smith and Miss Mary Lee presided at the tea table and were assisted in end of the table held purple candles. The refreshments carried out a purple and white color scheme. Marigolds were used in the living room. The hostess was assisted by Miss Elsie Braby, Miss Karen Skidmore, Miss Edna Standing, Miss Sadie Robinson and Miss Bertha Borquist. The guests numbered 150. Mrs. Walter McNabb Miller of St. Louis was the guest of honor at a din- ner given Monday night at the New-lious- entertained at a trousseau tea last Sunday afternoon at her home on East South Temple street. Druehl and two sons, Hugo, Jr., and Roger, left Thursday for San Francisco, tfhere they will make their home. They will make the trip by automobile, going by way of Los Angeles. Mrs. A. H. Park entertained at her home, 1409 Fourth East street, Monday night in honor of Miss La Vaun Haymond, who was married to Clarence Judd Evans Tuesday. The guests were entertained at Five Hundred followed by a late supper. Pink asters in a basket formed the centerpiece for the supper table. Pink and white asters were used in the living room. Eight tables were arranged for cards. The hostess was assisted by Miss Winifred Haymond, Miss Dorothy Smith, Miss Phyllis Reeder, Miss Sis-er- a Ewing and Mrs. Sidney 0. McKenzie. Mrs. E. W. Christensen and Mrs. W. B. Kendall entertained at a luncheon Monday at My Shop in honor of Miss Haymond. A color scheme of blue and gold was carried out in the table decorations.
