Show THE CITIZEN 10 With The First Nighters If you are looking for hearty laughs as a sort of spring tonic, the the place,' for theres a vaudeville bill there that promises something unusual in fun. Comedy reigns supreme in practically all of. the acts, with Harriet Rempel and Herbert Williams and Hilda Wolfus. as the head' liners. Miss Rempel is to be seen in a new one-ac- t playlet by Tom Barry, a beautiful fantasy in a memorable .setting entitled The Story'of a Picture. Miss: Rempel is one of the greatest o.f the, stages character stars and Mr. Barrys playlet gives her wonderful opportunities to display her varied and charming talents. It is an act that local Orpheumites are certain to enjoy. Wil-- . liams and Wolfus are artists who have made buffonery a high art. They are prime favorites everywhere and their present melange of mirth and near melody entitled From Soup to Nuts, is the best vehicle of their highly successful stage careers. The act is good for. dozens of hearty laughs as all who remember Mr. Wolfus famous Hark, Hark, will agree. Another comedy act is provided by that comedian James C. Morton with the assistance of Mamie, Edna and Alfred Morton. They present a comedy travesty that is declared to be one of the funniest things yet seen on the Orpheum stages. Edith Clifford, comedienne, is pleasing to both eye and ear. She is assisted by Roy Ingraham at the piano in presenting a series of song numbers. Miss Clifford is an excellent singing comedienne. Tom Smith in All Fun ranks high among the monologises. He is well known in musical comedy for his many successes, especially as a member of the team of Smith and Austin. The famous clown, Best Melrose, is another funmaker. He features the great Melrose fall as the finish of his amusing act. Delmar and Kolb will present One Summer Day, something out of the ordinary run of athletic acts. They are real artists in their line of entertainment. Pathe News of the Day occupy their usual position on the comedy offering. Miss Millar plays the piano, corent and accordian in a manner indicating that she is an accomplished artist. Eddie Love and Jeanette Wilber open the bill in a gymnastic treat that puts the audience in excellent humor. Miss Wilber features the act with a display of unusual strength.
