C. 1'HE Vette, 189 First avenue. A wedding ception followed. The Rev. Elmer I. Goshen performed the ceremony. The bride wore a gown of white liberty satin, veil in net, and trimmed with irridescent bands of sequins. Her veil was caught with orange blossoms and she carried pale pink roses, combined with fresh orange blossoms. The gift of the bridegroom was a gold bracelet and dinner ring set in topaz. Assisting Mr. and Mrs. Vette in receiving the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Seldon I. Clawson and Dick Vette. Assisting in the dining room were Mrs. Seymour Wells and Mrs. Irwin Clawson. Anderson of Overton, Nevada, Miss Ethel Campbell and Mrs. Joseph Clive presided in the dining room, assisted by Miss Virginia Campbell, Miss Alice Campbell, Miss Hortense West, Miss Ruth Taylor and Miss Leone Hulbert Miss Mary Clive presilded at the punch bowl. The bridegroom is an employee of the Oregon Short Line offices and is a Salt Lake youth. Mr. and Mrs. Jackson will spend a fortnight on the Pacific coast, returning to Salt Lake to make their home. The card tables were arranged in the sun parlor and tea was served from the small tables following the game. Early fall flowers formed the decorations. Assisting the hostess were Mrs. J. H.
