A dispute of long standing involving title to a quarter section in the Salt Lake City land district ended today when thejiuprane court set aside a decision awarding it to Mark P. Braffet. In 1018 Braffet made application to purchase the land which contained ronL While hia application, was pend, ing eongrese passed the coal leiusing act, under which the land waa leased to the Pleasant Valiev Coal company. Braffet appealed to the lower courts here which held that his rights under his application had not been set aaida by the leasing act, and' declared him entitled to the land.- -.
