The passage of the resolution came at the close of a strong appeal made by T. B. Every state iu the union, save Utah and two others, have .made provisions for these sufferers, aud the time has now come when in ths interests of humanity and the irotecthm of our public health we shall provide such an institution in Utah. At the coming session of the legislature, said Kidner, a bill will be introduced for the establishment of a modern, up to dale tuberculosis sanatorium, and the women a clubs of Utah ean help enormously, both as a body and through ita members individually, in promot ing and effecting the passage of this resolution. Following are the resolutions passed by the convention : Resolved, By the Utah Federation of Women s clubs in annual convention assembled that we strongly endorse the efforts being made by the Utah Public Health association to provide a state tuberculosis sanatorium for the treatment and education of those suffering with this disease in our state, and realize the general pub lie health is safeguarded by the hospitalization of these eases. Resolved, Further, that to aid thia association in thia praiseworthy effort we endorse the sale of the tuberculosis Christmas seals, the moneys from which are the only means of support for the national and state organ! rations in their campaign against le F.
