Show Clara Hermansen Dies After Illness Mrs Clara Josephine Olsen Dorius Darius Hermansen 73 died in ina ina ina a Mt Pleasant hospital at Monday afternoon after a long illness She had not walked for 4 4 years and had been bedfast bedfast bedfast bed bed- fast fast much of the time Her husband Marcus Hermansen i gave up all his outside activities and devoted full time to caring for his invalid wife He lIe had her out riding in the car on Sept 13 a treat she en enjoyed enjoyed en- en joyed as often as her health r r would permit She became seriously ser ser- ill that night and was taken to the hospital the next day She was in a semi coma all last week and then on the took a turn for th the worse and death came a day later i Mrs Hermansen was born in ini i Ephraim August 20 1885 a daughter of Louis Olsen and Maria Jensen Dorius She was 7 the last of the immediate family She grew up in Ephraim attended at attended attended at- at tended local schools and was married to Mr Hermansen at Nephi April 26 1910 The marriage marriage marriage mar mar- I was later solemnized inthe inthe in inthe the Manti Temple Active in church work her positions had included president of the and president of the Relief Society in the South SouthWard SouthWard SouthWard Ward also teaching and other positions She is survived by her husband husband husband hus hus- band one son and three daughters daughters daughters daugh daugh- Lee Hermansen and Mrs Guy Maurine Young Ephraim Mrs Eardley Ethel Madsen Los Angeles and Mrs Marlin Deaun Deaun Deaun De- De aun Nielson Salt Lake City 12 grandchildren one great great- grandchild and three h sis half sis half sIs lf-sIs- Mrs Frank Anna Anderson Ander Ander- son Mrs Cordelia Booth and Mrs Stena Dunn all of S Salt a 1 t i.
