Weber, an American party man, for county attorney. The woman had been divorced before she married Myera. After her marriage to Myere she fell in love with Hottman, who Uved in Hlgglnavilla, Mo, her former home. They conspired to murder Myere no they could get married and, when all arrangements were completed, she sent Hottman money to come to Kansas City. She admitted him to the house after midnight and directed him to the bedroom where Myera lay aaleep. Myst arose in bad when Hottman struck him with a club from the butte end of a billiard oue. Myera la In the county Jail at Liberty, Hh Hottman la in Jail in Kansas City. He has Just recovered from knife wounds Inflicted recently in an attempt to commit suicide. Governor Folk haa granted both of them numerous respites and Mrs. Myers' case is now in the United States supreme court for the second time. The court some time ago denied her a new trial. Later her attorney sought a writ of habeas corpus in the district court end when it was denied took another appeal to tha supreme court.
