There were 8,816 votes mac in the First ward. Of these Martin received 2.093 and Clark 1,769. At fhj general election on Nov. I there were MSI Demovotes cast, of which crat, for sheriff, received 1,153; Charon, "American," 1,434, and Sharp, Republican, 1,603.
