A petition for a writ of prohibition restraining Salt Lake City from selling the 1(00,000 of bonds voted at the special bond election, wtll be filed in the supreme court of the state within the next few days by Heber M. Wells, president of the Utah Savings A Trust company, naya the Salt Lake Herald. The grounds on which this writ of prohibition will be asked are, that the election was illegal, that the names of the Judges were omitted from the advertisement of the election, that the publication was faulty, and that a portion of the aum accruing from the sale of the bonds will be used by the city for Improvement of the water supply of the city and for other purposes not specified In the proposal of election.
