' Slffl DAYS FOR ASSAULT ! L. A. Graves, charged with assault and battery, was sentenced to sixty days In Jail by Judge Murphy this morning. Graves was arrated lata yesterday afternoon at the Ogden Canyon Sanitarium for an assualt upon Rudolph Kuchler. He had been drinking some but is ia aald waa ngt drunk. He went to the Sanitarium tn the forenoon and wa quarrelsome tliroug-o- ut the day. He was requested to conduct himself in a more gentlemanly manner by Mr. Kuchler but paid no attention to the warning, Mr. Kuchler stepped to the telephone to call an officer when Graves stepped up liehind him and Inflicted a severe sculp wound on his head. In court this morning Grave pleaded guilty to the charge. He made a plea for leniency saying that he had been working In Wlnns-mucc- a. New. on the railroad for some time, but that he waa Just going home In response to a telegram from his wife saying to come at once and had stopped off in Ogden and gone to the sanitarium for a bath.
