The club house was beautifully decked in palms and ferns, artistic divans, rugs and attractive cozey corners, giving a home like look to the reception room where the bridal party was assisted in receiving by Mrs. Folsom of San Francisco, sister of the bride. Miss Laura Shearman and Miss Salisbury served punch in the hall. Refreshments were served in the down stairs rooms which were handsomely decorated for the occasion in white and green, white sweet peas and graced the tables, where the beautiful candelabra, silver and cut glass used on the tables were all gifts to the bride. Mrs. McCarthy and Miss Kimball presided over the large table. Late in the evening Mrs. Gue sang very sweetly, and several dances were indulged in by those who remained to the end. Mr. and Mrs. Katz left on Tuesday for Hawaii. After their return they will' make their home in lloise, Idaho. Tlieir many friends hope they will pass much of their time in Salt Lake. ft ft. A pretty home wedding was that of Miss Elsie Sntton Cohen and Arthur lratt Jr., which took place on Monday evening July Tth at the home of the plu-mo- sa bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Cohen, Judge C. W. Morse officiating. The ceremony took place at seven oclock, when only relatives and intimate friends were present. A reception was held later, which was attend- ed by 200 guests. The decorations of point desprit, with rare lace trimmings the house were beautiful and effective, and veil, und curried a shower bouquet of bride's roses. In the hall the decora' tions were American beauty roses, carnations, palms and ferns. Pink roses decked the dining room. The bride was gowned in white crepe dechine over taffeta with real lace trimmings, and carried brides roses.
