Group A, ' The Utah Junior Hereford Association Field Day was hosted by the Duchesne County Hereford Breeders Association in area and vicinithe Duchesne-Rooseveties. A wide and varied program was the order of the day. A judging contest and other activities were held for the members of the Utah Junior Hereford Association while adults embarked on a tour of various Hereford operations in the Uintah Basin region. Guest speakers on the program included Mike Kendall, Emmett, daho, President American Junior Hereford Association; David tar gent, Wilsall, Montana, American Hereford Association Director; Bud Snidow, Assistant Secretary for the American Hereford Association; and Tom McCord, AHA - AHJ Fieldman, Cathey's Valley, California. The high junior individual in the Hereford judging contest was BOI Jensen of Logan, and the recipient of a gift heifer.
