Show about one month. Nm ktai Fran Duchesne Mr. and Mrs. Jim Day are the proud parents of a baby girl born J uly 30 in the Duchesne County Hospital. She weighed 8 lbs. 15ft oz. and was 20 inches long. They have named her Krystal Kay. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Day, Duchesne, and Mrs. June Luedke of Bluebell. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Reary of Bluebell, and Mrs. Agnes Luedke of Duchesne. Visiting at the Everett Turners are Gladys parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvis Elliott of Akron, Cola They plan to visit Bible studies are held once a week in Duchesne. Anyone interested may contact Linda Swenson or Paula Bailey. Mr, and Mrs. Jerry Allred ar the parents of a new baby boy born July 2 1 in the Duchesne County Hospital. He weighed 7 lbs. and 13 oz. and was 21 inches long. They have chosen to name him David Russell. He has one brother and two sisters at home. Grandparents are Doug and Larraine Allred of Mywn. and Russell and Violet Porter of Logan. Kimberly Bailey of Orem spent last week with her grandparents, the Troy Baileys. Deon and Pauline Brown returned home recently from a weeks vacation. They motored through Wyoming and Nevada and visited with some relatives. Mr. and Mrs. N. I.. Wimmer and Maxine Burdick and Mrs. Rusty vacationed for 10 days visiting points of interest in Colorado. South Dakota, and Minnesota. They were also able to spend some time with relative', Mr. and Mrs. Keith Snnblad of AlbertCity, Iowa. Mrs. Louise M. Thiebliud Jr. and her baby son, Arnold. 3rd of Wichita, Kansas were visiting with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Klnn-- r R. Moon's of Duchesne for two weeks, while Mr. Thiebaud was attending a two week computer school in I,os Angeles. Calif. She also visited with her two brothers in Duchesne, and their families, ihe Jerry Moons and the Lee Moons, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sampson in Iaigan, Mr. and Mrs. John Eugster in Salt latke and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Woodward in Provo. Mr. Arnold Thiebaud Jr. flew to Salt Lake July 23rd from Los Angeles. Calif., to join his wife, the former Louise Moon, and son. He visited with relatives and friends over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Thiebaud Jr., and son flew back to Wichita, Kansas Wednesday, July 27th. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer R. Moon and Mr. and Mrs. John Eugster and girls from Salt Lake accompanied them to the airport to bid them farewell. Mr. Thiebaud has been attending a computer school in Los Angeles, Calif., for two weeks. Those attending the Heber Moon reunion held at Currant Creek on July 16th at the summer home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer R. Moon were Mr. and Mrs. Robert 1L Moon, Provo, and 25 members of their family, including Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Moon and family. Mesa, Ariz., Mr. and Mrs. Orven Moon from Neola, and 19 members of their family, including Mrs. Charkitte Van Soolen and son, Lynn, from Evanston, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Dailey Moon, Payson, with 2 of their family there. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Moon and 35 members of their family there including Louise Thiebaud Jr. and son from Wichita, Kan.; Mr. Vernon Moon from Roosevelt and 4 members of his family. Dr. and Mrs. Ferrin Van Wagoner and 9 members of their family, Mrs. Florence Johnson, Heber and 4 members of their family. 3a STANDARD- attends national meet Debra Hayes, a student of Duchesne high school, was one of 1500 delegates selected from 450,000 national members to attend the Future Homemakers of America National Leadership Meeting this month in Seattle, Washington. Debra is a state officer in the Utah Association of Future Homemakers of August 4. 1977 America. Theme of this year's national meeting was Leadership 77". During the four-da- y Debra participated meeting, July in leadership training workshops and values clarification activities. Delegates explored techniques for decision making, goal setting and assuming leadership roles as homemakers. Selection as a Leadership Meeting delegate is one of the highest honors an FHA or HERO Chapter member can achieve. Criteria for selection include exceptional achievement in scholastic and extracurricular activities and demonstration of high personal standards.
