Merrill Millett, Roosevelt is one of fifteen Rieka College student who have been ehoaen for a special Student Recital at the two-yea- r college. The students will perform aa part of the 88th season of the Ricks Music Department The concert will be in the Classroom-Offic- e Building and will include piano, and clarinet selections. One soprano also will be featured. Wayne will play the piano, for his part on the program. Leslie D. Brown, former Duchesne County Attorney, has announced his return to this area. Mr. Brown has resumed practice at his former office at the Duchesne Professional Plaza, where he was associated with the firm of Sam, Brown A Park. Mr. Brown and his family moved to the Provo area in September, 1975. In July of this e Bob Fieldsted had the misfortune of getting his arm caught in a power saw while sawing wood at his home last week, e Novella Potta wu in the Vernal Hospital for a few days receiving medical year, when David Sam was appointed District Court Judge, Mr. Brown treatment e The Ward Budget supper and bazaar was held on Saturday evening and was reportedly a big success. A large crowd assumed his private practice and has been maintaining a put time office in Duchesne since that time. Mr. Brown will now be in Duchesne on a full time basis. Mr. Brown is a 1972 graduate of the University of Utah College of Law and also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brigham Young University. He is married to the farmer Karen Yarn of Orem and the father of two boys, David, age 8, and John, age 2. He formerly served as President of the Duchesne Area Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chairman of the Duchesne County Democratic Party. Temporary regulations, now in effect, allow for oral auction bidding for certain National Forest timber sales located near, dependent communities. To aid in developing permanent regulations comments are being solicited aa to situations where it may be in the public interest to use oral auction in lieu of sealed bidding. In order to be most useful, public comment should address the subject of why proposed departures from sealed bidding would be in the pubUe interest. Comments should be submitted not later than November 80, 1976, to the Chief, Forest Service, U. S. Department of Agriculture, Washington, D. C. 20250.
