The Roosevelt Chapter of the Utah Music Teachers Association announced this week that proceeds from the Monster Melodramas, to be held October 28, 29, and 80 at Union will be donated towards the purehsse of a Grand Piano ' for Union high schooL On Wednesday and Thursday the evenings program will begin at 7 p.m. and on Saturday October 30, there will be a matinee from 5 p.m., at the school. Price for the program will be $1.75 for adults; 75 cents for students and 50 cents for children. According to Tans Dunsmore, instructor and director of the Monster Melodramas, the program is in the best of fun and entertainment and should be an excellent way fnr children of aQ ages and adults to celebrate Halloween. 1-- Todd-We- st PTO sponsors Halloween party Saturday, October 80 has been set by PTO as the date of their annual Halloween Carnival. A hot dog and sloppy joe supper will begin at 6 p.m. with a Carnival to follow at 7 p.m. The carnival will be comprised of food and game booths with everyone invited to join in. There will also be a contest for the best costume, with prises in three different categories to be given away. The arm was set and they were able to bring her home Wednesday. Michael Wilson received his discharge from the armed services at Ft Bragg, North Carolina the 23rd of September TABI0MA lyCssais las e Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee received word this week they are grandparenta again. Parents are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Skewes of Twin Falls, Idaho. It was a baby boy born October 7 at the Magic Valley Memorial Hospital at Twin Falls. The young lad weighed 8 lbs. and has a sister waiting at home. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John B. Skewes of Bountiful and two great grandmothers. Mrs. Beulah Armington of Bountiful who is almost 90 and Mrs. Lydia Skewes of Moab who is over 90. e Marsha Turn bow and roommate of Provo viaited two days this week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Turnbow. Florence took Mrs. Janette Turnbow to Provo Wednesday where they both did temple work for some of Jacnette's ancestors. Florence took Marsha and friend back to Provo Friday afternoon, e Mrs. Vida Jensen, Mrs. Vivian Curry and Mrs. Connie Lee attended a pink and blue ahower at the home of Mrs. Craig WQcken in Myton Wednesday for Mrs. Gwenita Olson. Games were played and a nice group attended. A lovely dessert luncheon was served, e Mr. and Mrs. Arlie Wadley and grandchildren of Salt Lake are here visiting at their summer home, e Mr. and Mrs. Ed Voda of Salt Lake are visiting the past two weeks at their hone here and doing some elk hunting.
