A RESOLUTION AMENDING THAT RESOLUTION ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROOSEVELT. DUCHESNE COUNTY. UTAH ON OCTOBER 28, 1975. WHICH AUTHORIZED THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF NOT TO EXCEED $465,000 WATER REVENUE SUBORDINATE BONDS OF SAID CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING PART OF THE COST OF ADQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENTS. ADDITIONS AND TO EXTENSIONS THE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEM OF SAID CITY. The WHEREAS, City Council of Roosevelt, Duchesne County, Utah adopted a Resolution on October 28, 1975, authorizing the issuance and sale of not to exceed Water Revenue $465,000 Subordinate Bonds of said City for the purpose of paying part of the cost of acquiring and constructing improvements, additions and extensions to the City's water ' system, which bonds were authorized to be issued by a of the qualified majority electors of the City voting at a special election held therein on July 9, 1974; and WHEREAS. The City Council amended said Resolution by Resolution adopted on December 16, 1975 and desires to further amend the said October 28, 1975 Resolution as set forth herein; NOW, THEREFORE. Be It Resolved By the City Council .of the City of Roosevelt, Duchesne County, Utah as " follows: Section 1. The form of single Water Revenue Subor-- , dinate Bond set forth in Section 5 of said October 28, 1975 Resolution, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding the phrase and December 22, 1975" immediately following the date December 16, 1975 on page 14 of said October 28, 1975 Resolution. Section 2. The form of Serial Water Revenue Subordinate Bond set forth in Section 6 of said October 28, : 1975 Resolution is hereby ; amended by adding the and December 22, phrase 1975" immediately following the date December 16, 1975 on page 20 of said October 28, 1975 Resolution. Section 3. The figure $1,250,000 is hereby deleted from the first Whereas" paragraph on page 4 of the October 28, 1975 Resolution and the figure $1,057,960 inserted in lieu thereof, so that the estimated cost of the acquisition and construction . of the proposed additions and provements, extensions shall be $1,057,960. Section 4. The figure $750,000 is hereby deleted from the fourth Whereas paragraph on page 4 of the October 20, 1975 Resolution and the figure $452,000 inserted in lieu thereof so that the portion of the estimated cost of said acquisition and construction to be funded by grants from the United States of America shall be $452,000. Section 5. The figure is hereby deleted $35,000 from the fourth Whereas paragraph on page 4 of the October 20, 1975 Resolution and the figure $140,960 inserted in lieu thereof so that the portion of the estimated cost of said acquisition and construction to be funded by City funds shall be $140,960. Section 6. Immediately following its passage and adoption, this Resolution shall be published one time in the Uintah Basin Standard, a newspaper published in and having general circulation in said City. Section 7. An emergency being deemed to exist and for the health, safety and welfare of the i. the inhabitants Municipality, this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and approim- val. Itowen. This action is being taken road surface to prevent damage, reduce maintenance costs, and provide safety on roads which those are currently being used for logg ing activities," staled Mr. Kowen. Motor vehicle traffic other than oversnow machines will be authorized by written permit only. These permits can be obtained from one of the District Ranger Offices in Vernal, Roosevelt, Duchesne, and Dutch John. NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE The use of motor vehicles other than oversnow vehicles on the following roads on the Ashley National Forest is authorized by written permit only effective December 15, 1975. This road management is necessary to prevent damage and is pursuant to the authority vested in me under 36 CFR 212.7 (a) (2) (ii). Written permits must be obtained from the District Ranger's Offices. This closure will remain in effect until such time as damage from use will not occur. Violators arc subject to punishment.
