Show The Paper That Dares To Take A Stand October 27, 1977 The Utah'lhfcfepemJent THE PATRIOTS PRIMER Foundation and Conspiracy Continued from page PRIMER AND A PRUNER By Wylie C. Sampson 1 At the first meeting of the Carnegie Foundation Trustees the following question was asked. Is there any means known to man more effective than war, assuming you wish to alter the life of an entire leople?M The Carnegie Trustees were intellectually sophisticated men from the fields of finance, law and education. After debating the question in a very scholarly and academic fashion for a year, they came to the conclusion that war is the most effective, means known to man, assuming you wish to alter the life of an entire people. Then in 1909 they raised question number two. How do we involve the United I doubt, States in a war? Dodd said, if there was any end too quickly. The war didn't end quickly as those who were gassed, or maimed (and relatives who lost loved ones) will attest. It staggered on until 1919, taking its toll, but allowing the conspirators time to pian when peace came. When the war ended, Car- negie Trustees then turned their attention to what they refer to as, "preventing a reversion in this country to what life was prior to 1914. Their answer, Dodd said, was we must control education. Realizing the control of education was a rather large order, Carnegie Trustees solicited the assistance of the Rockefeller Foundation in that task, and they divided ceived a $400 thousand grant for the purpose of making a study which would determine and disclose the course of this country from that point on. In 1933 this study came out in seven volumes, with the seventh volume being a summation of the content of the other six, the substance being (and this is where it ends) the future of this country belongs to collectivism, administered with characteristic efficiency and humanitarianism. We've experienced a very severe drought and we'll feel it's effects for some time to come, regardless of future snow and rainfall. Water conservation is much more than a good idea it's a necessity. The key to our water supply is snow and it will take two or three years for this winter's snowfall to seep down to groundwater levels. Therefore, since our diminished groundwater table won't be repknished for the coming summer, conservation is just as important now as ever. |
