WHAT CAN I DO? . . Why should I write my Congressman? . . . hes not going to change his I dont have time I mind anyway . . . hes not going to listen to me dont know how to write a letter in their language . . . ... ... Recognize any of those arguments? How many of your friends have you heard use one or more of them? How many times did you use them before becoming an activist? Those arguments and others like them have been used for years. They are common . . . and familiar. So much so that they are a part of our political folklore.
