Mrs. Mary Thomas LDS Temple accompanied them through the temple. The new Mrs. Jensen will be remembered as the former Elva Allred, a resident of Eureka. They will make their home in Elberta. Meat Loaf Mountains Hamburgers: 1 teaspoon Accent teaspoon salt 1 pound ground beef teaspoon dry mustard y2 cup evaporated milk teaspoon pepper 1 cup soft bread crumbs teaspoon thyme 1 egg cup minced onion Sprinkle Accent over beef in mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients; mix gently with fork. Shape into 4 large patties; place in shallow baking dish. Bake in a moderate oven (350F.) 30 minutes. Potato-Giees- e Topping: 1 envelope instant mashed 4 slices (4 ounces) sharp American cheese, divided potatoes mashed potatoes according to package directions. Prepare Cover hot hamburgers with cheese slices. Swirl potatoes on top; place under, broiler heat to melt cheese ana lightly brown potatoes. YIELD: 4 servings. Jewel McNeil returns home Mrs. Jewel McNeil returned home this week from a four month stay in Panama. Her Mr. daughter and son-in-la- w, and Mrs. Joseph Roybal and family are spending a two year stay there working for Civil Service. Mrs. McNeil accompanied them of the trip to the Canal Zone. While there she was taken on a Cruise on the Carribean Sea and also visited many of the other Islands in that area. It was a most enjoyable trip, but like all good Eurekans she is glad to be back home. She was met at the Salt Lake Airport by a daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Folger and took off on a trip with them to the Canyons, Zions, and Bryce. She then spent a few days in the city with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy McNeil. He drove his mother to Eureka on Monday of this week. son-in-la- Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Denton Bartschi were her mother, Mrs. Bernice Anderson of Payson, a sister and her family, Mr and Mrs. Bill Shy of Clearfield, and Miss Debra Wolfe and Alan Parker of Provo. Mr and Mrs. Dick Dorman and family returned home on Thursday of last week from Moab. Mr Dorman is employed in Moab and the family has spent the past two weeks with him. He returned to Moab on Tuesday of this week, and his family remained here. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Colovich and Sherrie, spent the weekend in Salt Lake, with their son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Colovich. Craig w, son-in-la- Reed is the former Lenore Barney, also a former Eurekan. - There were many former Eurekans at the nicely arranged afternoon, offering best wishes and congratulations to Ruby on her anniversary. It was a delightful afternoon for all those attending. 4-- H evening. Irene Bryson of Mapleton, was in town last Friday evening, spending the evening with Mrs. Clare Larsen. Dena Jo Carpenter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Carpenter, spent the past ten days in St George with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harvey. Her parents and brother and sister, Brad and Jennefer and Connie Rowley went to St George for the weekend and Dena Jo returned home with them on Monday. The trip to St George was made by bus. Mayor and Mrs. Curtis Butler and daughter, Barbara, are spending a vacation in Green River, Wyoming with Albert Johnson. of Orem spent and Sunday with his Saturday Mrs. Mildred Garity. mother, Bob Garity Mr. and Mrs. Morris Bushman of Provo, spent Sunday af- ternoon and evening here with her father, Jack Andrew. Mrs. Earlen Gear spent Monday and Tuesday in Bountiful and Salt Lake, where she visited with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Livingston of Hayward, California, left Tuesday morning for their home. They had spent the past three days here with his grandmother, Mrs. Valene Livingston. Mrs. Dick Willett and family Salt Lake City spent the weekend here with her parents, Howard and Mrs. Mr. Greenhalgh and her sister and family Mrs. Donna Cushing. of At for Mrs. Ruby Barney, (Ruby Church) formerly of Eureka. Her daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Reed honored her mother on the occasion of her 81st birthday. Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lucas spent the weekend at Fish Lake. They returned home Sunday Mrs. by Mammoth residents Club news meeting of the Busy Bakers club 'was held at the high school. Two meetings were combined with President Shirley Grill conducting. Minutes were read by Tammy Gourley. The girls sang You are my Sunshine. The prayer was offered by Stacy Taylor. A lesson on A 4-- H making Lemon Bread and muffins was given. Judging the texture for tenderness, ap- pearance and flavor, the girls worked in groups of tour. The meeting was adjourned and the next meeting will be at the high school on August 10th. Reporter Stacy Taylor. Club The TAFFA Chefs met Tuesday, July 31, at the home of Adele Allinson. The meeting was called to order by Mrs. Allinson, and the group sang My Country Tis of Thee led by Jeannie Gillespie. The prayer was offered by Sue Ann Garbett, and the Pledge was led by Mrs. Allinson. The roll call was by Teresa Nelson and Jeanie Gillespie. This week on Aug. 7, we met at the home of Sue Ann Garbett, and planned our camping trip to Levan Canyon. Demonstrations were given by Amy Morris and Patti Robinson, on How to break a raw egg, and tap a hard boiled one. All the grils made cookies and enjoyed eating them. Reporter- - Amy Morris. 4-- H 4-- H Guests last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Judge were two granddaughters, Leisa and Melanie Jones, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Jones. They returned home on Sunday, and another grandaughter, Sheila Jones is spending this week here with her grandparents. Mrs. Della Allinson returned home this week from Beaver, where she has been visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Beth Puffer. Scott McDonell, son of Mr. and Mrs. William McDonell of Long Beach is visiting in Mammoth with his aunt, Mrs.Lila Cole. Other guests are her two grandchildren, Duane and Travis Milne of Tuscon, Arizona. Eastwoods return from vacation in northwest Mr. and Mrs. William East-woo- d and daughter, Carrie, returned last week, from a three week vacation. They drove north to the Jasper National Forest, then along the Alcan Highway to Anchorage, Alaska, where they were guests for a few days of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Conover, former residents. Mrs. Conover is the former Betty Carlson. Enroute home they stopped in Edmonton and Calgary, Canada, and down to Sheridan, Wyoming, where they stopped for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. James Kaatz and family, also former residents. Mrs. Kaatz is the former Dalena Dean. They report a very enjoyable trip, with good weather nearly all the way. The party was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Demman, and was given for all the Grand Officers of the Order of Eastern Star of Utah. Mrs. Demman is the immediate Past Worthy Grand Matron of O. E. S. and Mr. Nash is the present Worthy Grand Patron of O. E. S. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Nebeker, and Mr. and Mrs. Stormy Allinson and daughter Haulii and Lorie Bigler, were in Saturday evening attending a reunion of the L.A. Nebeker family. The reunion was held in the Annabell Park. Miss Frances Jones returned home on Thursday of last week, after spending a few days in Tooele as the house guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hood.
