Show The Eureka Reporter Page Four June 23, 1972 Harriett Hinckley Eiiason Harriet Eiiason files for state school board Harriet Hinckley Eiiason, of Delta (Millard resident County), announced her candidacy for a four year term on Utah State Board of Education in District 7. Two state board members are apportioned to this district which comprises school 16 districts from central Utah to the southwest corner of the state. Mrs. Eiiason said one of her major goals as a board member would be to coordinate the states educational program with the economic structure in regard to current and future job opportunities. Students also need training in of social the evaluation problems and the ability to adjust to change, she said. Mrs. Eiiason holds a masters degree from the University of Utah and has had training and experience in social work. She has a son attending Delta Jr. High and a daughter at Delta High and two daughter at college, in addition to two daughters who have graduated. She has had experience as PTA president of Delta Jr. High and High School, substitute teaching, Millard Care Center Day volunteer work and PTA exceptional child chairman. Mrs. Eiiason is the wife of Eldon A. Eiiason, Millard County Attorney. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Parnell Hinckley of Salt Lake City.
