The Merchants' club of Ogden wa. fortunate, indeed, when it secured the attraction of the Nat Reiss Southern Carnival company to furnish the attraction. for the big street fair and carnival which opens for one week on city hall square beginning Monday, October 24th. There la a multiplicity of attractions and Mr. Charles Doyle 1. the agent and the special representative of the Nat Reiss Southern Carnival company, with headquarters In the Allen Transfer office. This organisation has contracted to furnish the amusement features of the carnival. Mr. Doyle said when seen by a reporter: "Last season the Southern Carnival company made Its first tour of the Pacific coast, and found several cities and towns In which there was much opposition to carnivals, due to the fact that several rag shop outfits had given street fairs which were characterised by Interior and immoral attractions.
