We have received letters from all parts of the U. S. highly recommending Dr. Ouns Blood and Nerve Tonic, until the faith we had in the remedy has been fully sustained. We had confidence from the very beginning that this medicine should make cures, but lacked that assurance that comes after many successful trials. Now that we have been upheld in our belief we wan to Impart to others our confidence. Nervous, and unsteady people, weak,, fleshless people, pimply, pale, or sallow people are all victims of weak, watery blood. Make new, rich blood, to be forced through the system by the way of the arteries, and disease cannot remain. This Tonic cures disease by giving you strength to resist it All druggists sell it for 75c. per box, or S boxes for 2. The tablets are to be taken after, each meat. They turn the food 'you eat into rich red blood. Persons who take this Tonic gain in good solid flesh from 1 to S pounds per week. SEX IN EATING. enjoys well cooked, well served food, but her happiness does not depend upon it so completely as does a man's Without regular, abundant meals a man .is disturbed in spirit , and considers himself abused. When a man loses his appetite it is because of some physical Kliment, never a mental one. A great blow may make the touching of food an actual impossibility for his sister for hours or even days: but, no matter if the foundations of' 'the earth were shaken, the ordinary man can eat. He can eat at any timq or all the time. I know a man who Is living on the street during his wife's absence, and he confesses to averaging five meals a dny. Food so often is not more than rai ment with a girl. Investigate the light housekeeping arrangements of rooms, sky parlors, or' even first-claand consider the- well gowned girl therein and see if it la. I know a girl, and a college girl, who existed on 87 cents for one week in order to buy an expensive trifle her mothers good sense had denied her. Shop girls, they say, sacrifice their lunches to buy a Laura Jean Libbey novel, but where is the man that ever goes without a reasonable abount of good food for any need he may have? The largest farm loan ever made In Utah whs yesterday made a matter of record In the office of the county recorder of Box Elder county. The loan la for 80,000 and was made to Peter and Peter W. Sommer by the Home Trust and Savings company of this city. The security given for this unuaual real estate loan is 980 acres of land in the Bear valley, situated quite near the sugar factory at Garland. It Is without doubt the moat valuable farm in the state of Utah. With the exception of seven acres of orchard and entwenty acres in sugar beets, the inall is and it alfalfa, is in tire tract fences, constructclosed by hog-tiged of wire by an eastern factory. It is well supplied with buildings, and railroad switches are laid to the farm, for convenience in shipping its products. The Sommers came from Illinois six years ago and bought the tract of land, .then in a wild state, from the What Bear River Canal company. in since, accomplished have they making it the best improved farm ex-in the state, serves as a splendid ample of the possibilities of Irrigated farming in the valleys of Utah. The value of the farm, as a business proposition, can perhaps be better understood when it is known that its yield of alfalfa Is now eight tons to the acre in a year, the product selling at the farm for about 8 a ton. This would make the gross receipts for a year not counting the fruit and sugar beets something over 40,000, of which amount must be profit, not counting Interest upon the The owners have, of investment course, been at considerable expense to get the farm in its present high state of cultivation, hut from this time on the profits will be large and absolutely sure; there is no failure of crops to be reckoned on, and the yield will be Increased rather than diminished. The loan Just secured, as a matter of fact., is to be used for making still further improvements, which are Justified by the Increased Income they will be instrumental In producing. The sum of 120 an acre, or a total of 117,600, is a conservative estimate of the present value of this large farm that is, what it would actually be sold for. It doubtless has cost the of that owners less than one-thiamount. Salt Lake Tribune. ht cold-blood- two-thir- ed ds rd WONDERFUL RECORD OF TWIRLER ONE-ARME- D W. In my opinion, strong and convincing I cannot see how anybody can consider It otherwise. Every Issue Is dearly stated and strongly supported. The question of a tariff for revenue as against the tariff for protection is set down in unequivocal terms. Our party has always advanced the theory that the object (of customs taxation) is the raising of revenue for support of the government. The Republican party on the other hand, contends that customs duties be levied primarily for protection and this clear statement of the lasue between the parties is followed by a strong exposition of the robbery" a'hlch a protection tariff effects.
