It will form part of the educational exhibit from Utuh. The exhibit la arranged by buildings, and consists of all the classes of work done in the public schools of the city. The schools were represented from the klndegar-te- n to the high school. Thee rude beginning of children five and a half years of age was seen along aids Of the finished product of the four years high school student One of the most remarkable features is tbs splendid color work running all through the grudea Artists and those who are studying such things pronounce the work excellent. Expressions of surprise were heard on all aides, not only at the quality of the work, but unstinted praise was given to teachers for the unique manner in which it had been arranged. Illustrated composition work la another strong feature of the work. Some of these illustrations would be a credit to a magazine artist The work of this kind is locaL Descriptions of CTgden canyon, illustrated at different points of view with brush and pencil, would indicate that a master hand had been at work. The fact that the exhibition haa been gotten up inside of two weeks la a remarkable one. It must have taken days and nights of thoughtful study to work out and accomplish such excellent re- w . si f suits. The photographic exhibit is by far the best ever seen in the city. All of the school buildings, with their surroundings and interiors, are shown. Recreation grounds athletics, basements, corridors, school rooms, decorations for school rooms and hallways, children at work and at play, and in fact every feature of the school system has been photographed. One of the best things la a group of Ogden City teachers taken In front of the Carnegie library building. A glance at the photograph will convince anyone why Ogden City haa good schools. A more earnest, yes, we will any, good looking, Inteligent group will be hard to find in any community. There Is not a hoy or girl who attends the Ogden City public schools that haa'not been photographed in one way or another. The two thousand children at play in Liberty park Is one of the best things ever seen in a group. It la remarkable that nearly every child la shown In such a way that he or she can be recognised by the parents or teacher. All of the departments of the high school are . f . , , - . shown. The entire exhibit ahould be seen to be appreciated. The exhibit will be open all day today and this evening, when it will be packed ready for shipment and will be sent off tomorrow. One feature which has made the affair so pleasant to visiting patrons was the presence of the school orchestras, which furnished music for the occasion. What hae been said about the public schools and their exhibit applies equally to the Weber Stake academy, a distinct feature of that exhibit being the domestic art department.
