David E. Sargent has the work in charge and nine or ten teams are at work on it. It is estimated that it will cost between $1,200 and $1,500 when completed. About $500.00 is to be appropriated this season tor it and the same each year after until completed. Mr. Sargent has had a great dealt of experience in this line and ia an able man to over see such a project as he will place the work so as to do the greatest good. The reservoirs we now have in the canyon have proven a great benefit to the farmers of this city and had it not been for the water stored in them this season the rropa would have suffered J. L.
