The people are making efforts to escape forcible enlistment in the army, and President Castro has been obliged to bring troops from the state of Los Andes. Clinton Dotson was executed Friday morning in the state prison at Deer Lodge, Mont, before invited spectators numbering 500. Dotson waa hanged for conspiring in the murder of his father Captain Oliver Dotson, a year ago last February.
