This sum, it is further pointed out by Dr. J. L. Jones, state health eommiaaoner, Is targe ' enough to provide fairly effective public health service, if administered by adequately-trained full time officials. Under the present law, Dr. Jones explains, we receive prairtfcallly no benefit from the Mlled public health expenditures except in cities of forty thousand population or over, Und one county (Davis) which maintains full time public health department.
