Forgery Charges Filed Man Hit by Two Cars On Riverdale Road Against Ogden Youth Taking a letter and cashing a company check for $4.75 has resulted in forgery charges being placed against Furl Lindsey, 18, who was bound over to the district court under $1,000 bonds by Judge Simon Barlow Wednesday, Lindsey is accused of taking a letter containing a check for $1.75, forging the name of City Transfer, and Goarold Bennett, and cashing the check. The check is alleged to have been made to the transfer company, where Lindsey was employed as truck driver, as payment for some hauling done for the L. II. Manning company, and was drawn on the Farmers and Merchants bank of Los Angeles. The alleged theft was said to have taken place December 0, 1928, and came to light when inquiry was made by the City Transfer company regarding payment, apparently overdue.
