Show I Friday, March 23, THE OGDEN POST Miller Floral Roses Led at Vancouver At the meeting of the Northwest Florists' association, held in Vancouver, B. C., on March 4, 5, and 6, there was on display three baskets of roses which came from the Miller Floral company's greenhouses in Farmington. These roses were cut on February 29 and March 1; and, according to Golden Barton, sales manager of the company who attended the convention, they arrived in the. best of condition, and were the most showy of any of the displays made. The Florists Review, a large trade journal, has the following to say in regard to the Miller roses that were on display: The Miller Floral company, Farmington, Utah, is of nationwide fame for its roses, and the reason was clearly shown in its excellent Huntsville News On Friday evening, March 22, M.' Mr. Mayhew commenced his work on the Ogden city departments about one week ago, and according to Mayor Frank Francis, will make a final remit to the city commissioners in about two weeks.
